Edson Marcelino Alves

PhD in Sciences (Bioenergy area) from the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP - 2020). Master degree in Chemistry from the Universidade Federal do Triângulo Mineiro (2023). Graduation degree in Chemistry (2021) from the University of Uberaba (UNIUBE) and a Bachelor degree in Biotechnological Engineering (2016) from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho". I was an exchange student, with a CAPES scholarship, by the Science without Borders program, during the year 2013, at the Technological University of Munich (Technische Universität München-Germany) where I attended undergraduate courses in Brewing Technology (Brauwesen und Getränketechnologie). Currently I am Professor of Basic, Technical and Technological Education at the Federal Institute of Tocantins (IFTO) - Advanced Campus Formoso do Araguaia. I Have experience in Chemistry and Bioprocesses, with emphasis on fermentation processes, working mainly with the following topics: yeast autolysis, yeast fractionation and obtaining of 5'-ribonucleotides and 5'-phosphodiesterase.
