Dr Bruna Millard (Bruna Lacerda da Silva Abreu) is currently a Flow Chemist at Almac Sciences, Northern Ireland. She has a PhD in Flow Chemistry by the University of Nottingham (2018-2021 - Prof. Sir Martyn Poliakoff and Prof. Mike George), funded by the University's Vice Chancellor?s Scholarship for Research Excellence and PhotoElectro EPSRC Grant. She has a Bachelor?s degree in Chemistry (2013-2017) by the University of São Paulo (USP) in which she carried out an undergraduate research project (2014/2016 - Prof. Luiz Fernando Silva Jr.) in total synthesis of natural products using hypervalent iodine financed by FAPESP (São Paulo Research Foundation). She also completed a research placement at the University of Cambridge (2016/2017 - Prof. Steven Ley) in the area of Flow Chemistry in collaboration with Syngenta, funded by an Academic Merit Scholarship from USP.
