I am a historian graduated from FFLCH-USP, master and PhD in History of Architecture and Urbanism from FAU-USP. My researches focus on public policies to cultural heritage conservation under the perspective of its institutional history, social engagement and the concepts of cultural heritage. My thesis is about the role of IPHAN (National Institut of historic and artistic heritage) under the administration of Gilberto Gil in the Ministry of Culture (2003-2008). My dissertation is about the role of COMPAHC, the municipal council for conservation of São Bernardo do Campo - SP, Brazil. I have been a visiting student in the Department of Archaeology in the University of Manchester under Professor Sian Jones' supervision. I have done a research internship in the École Doctorale, Histoire de l'Art, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne under Professor Dominique Poulot's supervision, funded by BEPE-FAPESP. I have been assistant curator for the "To understand the Museum" exhibit and curator for the "Postal cards" exhibit both in Museu Paulista da USP (Ipiranga Museum), I have been a lecturer of the education graduation at Faculdade Enau, I worked as official history teacher in São Paulo state's public education system and I am the author of the book "Águas, Trilhos e Manacás: as cores da memória" ("Waters, rail and Manacás flowers: the colours of memory"), based on my own field research about cultural and artistic expressions in the ABC Paulista (a region inside Greater São Paulo).
