She holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and a master's degree in Botany from the National Institute for Amazonian Research (INPA), completed in 2021. She is currently a doctoral candidate in Ecology at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). She has experience and interest in research on the traditional use and management of forest resources, with an emphasis on ethnobotany, historical ecology, and biocultural diversity. She works on projects developed in partnership with indigenous peoples, involving intercultural research, participatory botanical inventories, and analysis of traditional landscape management practices.
