Gabriela Siqueira has a Ph.D. in Sciences from the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp). She has experience in Molecular Biology and Human Genetics with a focus on Hematology. She has extensive knowledge in molecular biology techniques, including next-generation sequencing (NGS). She has oral and written fluency in English and has presented posters in American meetings. Also, she has knowledge in Immunology thanks to an internship performed in FMUSP. Since June 2020 until May 2021, Siqueira worked as a technician organizing and collecting Covid-19 samples for government-run health institutions both in Brazil and Portugal. Between May 2021 and March 2022, she was part of the team of gene editing services at the Center for the Study of Chronic Diseases, CEDOC, from Medical School Faculty from Nova University of Lisbon.
