He finished his B.Sc.in Mathematics at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (2007), his M.Sc in Mathematics at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (2010) and his Ph. D. in Mathematical Sciences (Pure Mathematics) at the University of Manchester. Nowadays, he is a FAPESP postdoctoral fellow at Instituto de Matemática e Estatística da Universidade de São Paulo. His research interests are: Dynamical Systems and Ergodic Theory, in particular Symbolic Dynamics and Open dynamical systems; Continuum Theory and their relation with Dynamical systems and Number Theory, in particular Expansions in non integer bases.
