Professor-researcher in Sociology of Education at the Department of Philosophy of Education and Educational Sciences at the School of Education of the University of São Paulo (Fesup). Collaborator in the Graduate Program in Education at the University of Campinas (Unicamp). She is the author of the book Private Schools in the Periphery: A Decolonial Analysis (Ed. Intermeios/Fapesp, 2021). PhD in Education in the area of Sociology of Education from the School of Education of the University of São Paulo (USP). She completed a doctoral internship at Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne (fall/winter 2017-2018). She holds a Master's degree in Philosophy in the area of Cultural Studies from the School of Arts, Sciences, and Humanities (EACH) at USP. She has a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp). She was a visiting researcher at the University of California, Berkeley (fall/winter 2022/2023). She is a member of the FOCUS research groupResearch Group on Education, Institutions, and Inequality at Unicampand a collaborator of the Peripheral Studies Center (CEP) research and outreach group at the Institute of Cities of the Federal University of São Paulo (IC-Unifesp).
