Gabriel Cotrim de Cesare Peinado

Graduated in Materials Science and Engineering from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (FEG/UNESP) and holds a master's degree in Science from the University of São Paulo (EEL/USP). Currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of São Paulo (EEL/USP) in partnership with the University of Campinas (FEQ/UNICAMP). Completed a research stay at Ohio State University, working with electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) and scanning and transmission electron microscopy techniques. Experienced in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, with an emphasis on physical metallurgy and mechanical properties of materials, focusing primarily on the following areas: heat treatments, microstructural analysis and mechanical properties of aluminum and its alloys, maraging steels, and additive manufacturing of metallic materials (laser powder bed fusion).
