Researcher and professor at the Faculty of Architecture, Arts, Communication, and Design at São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (Unesp/Bauru), working in both Undergraduate and Graduate Programs in Design (CAPES 6). She leads the Research Group "Inclusive Graphic Design: hearing, vision, and language," which explores the role of graphic design in promoting inclusion, addressing economic, physical, social, and gender aspects. She supervises undergraduate, scientific initiation, master's, and doctoral students, focusing on applied research in design and health, gender, sexualities, accessibility, and instructional design. These activities integrate teaching, research, and outreach, including work at the Inky Design laboratory, known for its inclusive methodologies for both printed and digital graphic products.She holds a Ph.D. in Communication and Semiotics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and completed a doctoral research internship at the University of Seville, Spain, as a CAPES scholarship recipient. She also holds a master's degree in Communication and Semiotics from PUC-SP (2004) and a specialization in Communication from the University of Fortaleza (Unifor-CE, 2001). She earned her bachelor's degree in Advertising, Propaganda, and Creation from the Presbyterian University Mackenzie (1998).With extensive academic and administrative experience, she served as Director of the Faculty of Architecture, Arts, Communication, and Design at Unesp/Bauru from 2020 to 2024 and as Vice-Director from 2016 to 2020. She was also Coordinator and Vice-Coordinator of the Design Program, specializing in Graphic Design and Product Design, from 2012 to 2016.
