Guilherme Niciunovas

Currently a fourth-year medical school student at "Universidade Federal de São Paulo (EPM)". Active member of the Academic Leagues of Neurosurgery, Cardiovascular Surgery and Polytrauma. Vice-President of the Academic League of Sleep Medicine. Current Head Coordinator of the International Affairs Committee of the Brazilian International Congress of Medical Students / BRAINCOMS (2014/2016). He is currently a fellow of "FAPESP" support foundation and develops a research project along with the discipline of Medicine and Biology of Sleep and the Department of Psychobiology, both from UNIFESP. The project also has the financial support of "AFIP" and the cooperation of the Department of Dermatology - UNIFESP and the "Hospital do Rim e Hipertensão". Regarding the academic extension field, the student annually takes part in the project known as "Saúde e Prato Cheio", which is held twice a year - first on Easter and then at Christmas - and is an initiative of UNIFESP medical students in favor of the poor community. The project relies on the volunteer work of the students of medicine and aims to collect food for philanthropic institutions. As for languages, he obtained academic proficiency in English and has a language course concluded up to the Advanced Language Training stage in CEL-LEP. Certificated with FCE from Cambridge University - UK (Reference No.09CBR1310015) and TOEFL ITP 2015/2017, reaching the C2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages #8203;#8203;(CEFR). Concluded a French course taught by the "Aliança Francesa" in 2015, granted as a full-term scholarship by "Ministério da Educação - MEC".
