Gustavo Hermínio Salati Marcondes de Moraes

Habilitation in Business Administration from the University of Campinas - UNICAMP (2021), Ph.D. (2013) and M.Sc. (2010) in Business Administration from FGV-EAESP. CNPq Research Productivity Fellow since 2022, renewed for the 20252028 triennium. Associate Professor (MS 5.2) at the School of Applied Sciences (FCA) of UNICAMP since 2015. Coordinates the Interinstitutional Doctorate and Masters Programs (DINTER and MINTER) with the State University of Alagoas (UNEAL), as well as the double-degree programs with the Masters in Management and Science, Technology Innovation Policy at the National Research University (Russia), and the Masters in International Relations and in Finance and Markets at the Università degli Studi di Macerata (Italy), in addition to UNICAMPs MBA in Strategic People Management. Served as Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Business Administration (PPGA) and Associate Graduate Coordinator at FCA/UNICAMP (2021-2025), as well as Extension Coordinator of the school (2017-2021). Associate Researcher at North-West University (South Africa) since 2022 and at the Higher School of Economics (Russia) since 2023. Principal Investigator of the FAPESP Research, Innovation and Dissemination Center (CEPID) BRIDGE - Management of Ecosystems for Sustainable Transitions, hosted at FEA-USP, and Coordinator of the BRIDGE Unicamp Laboratory. Leads the cooperation agreement with FAPEAL for the formulation of policy frameworks for Science, Technology Innovation in the State of Alagoas. Associate Editor of the Revista de Administração Mackenzie (RAM), Revista de Administração Contemporânea (RAC) and Revista de Administração, Sociedade e Inovação (RASI), and serves as a scientific advisor and reviewer for FAPESP, FACEPE, FAPEAL, and CNPq. Has entrepreneurial experience in the technology and food sectors, as well as consulting for major national and international companies in innovation and technology. Received the title of Honorary Citizen of Sorocaba in 2025 in recognition of significant contributions to entrepreneurship and education in the city (Legislative Decree No. 2,365/2025). His research has been awarded by institutions such as Emerald Publishing (Emerald/ANPAD 2018; Emerald Literati Awards 2019 and 2023), ANPAD (EnANPAD 2014, 2018, 2021 and 2023; SITE 2024; EnAPG 2025 - including the Clóvis Machado da Silva Award for Best Paper at EnANPAD 2018), FEA-USP (SemeAD 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2024), and ANEGEPE (EGEPE 2020). Since 2018, has led the Data Science and Analytical Intelligence track in the Information Technology area at SemeAD. Research interests include Entrepreneurial Ecosystems, Sustainable Entrepreneurship, Information Technology, and Analytical Intelligence. Engages in international research networks and publishes in collaboration with scholars from universities in South Africa, Germany, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Croatia, the United States, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Romania, and Russia.
