He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering (2014) from the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro (UFTM) and a masters degree in Chemistry (2018) from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). He is a doctoral student at the Graduate Program in Chemistry (PPGQ) at UFSCar. He is currently a visiting scholar at the group of Prof. Dr. Yury Gogotsi (Drexel University) in the USA. He has experience in the field of New Materials and Nanotechnology, working mainly in the synthesis of graphene-based materials, other 2D materials and polymers, targeting applications in chemical sensors, electronic tongue, remediation and environmental monitoring.
