This project aims to continue contributing to the construction of a database and to the studies about the economic and political determinants of the Brazilian state governors' popularity. (AU)

Victor Shin holds a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the University of São Paulo (2017) and a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Missouri System (2024). He has experience in Political Science, with an emphasis on Political Science research, focusing primarily on the following topics: electoral behavior, comparative politics, spatial models, economic voting, and political economy. He has completed several training courses in research methodologies through the IPSA-USP Summer School. He received two undergraduate research scholarships from FAPESP, participating in a thematic study group titled Subnational Political Institutions: A Comparative Study of Brazilian States at the São Paulo School of Economics/EESP/FGV. He has one publication in the Journal of Elections, Public Opinion and Parties (JEPOP). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
