Juliana Virginio da Silva holds a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), São Carlos campus, where she graduated in 2017. During her undergraduate studies, she gained experience in Parasitology, Morphology, and Bioinformatics. She then completed her Master's degree in the Interunit Program in Bioinformatics at the University of São Paulo (USP), under the supervision of Professor Luciano da Fontoura Costa. During her Master's program, she focused on machine learning, image analysis, and pattern recognition. Currently, she is a PhD candidate in the Graduate Program in Evolutionary Genetics and Molecular Biology at UFSCar, under the supervision of Professor Luciana Correia de Almeida Regitano, where she is working on metatranscriptomics and multi-omics data integration.
