Ph.D. in law and political economy at the University of São Paulo (USP), with support from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). He is a member of the Law and Policy Group (GDPP) and the Democracy and Collective Action Group (NDAC), which are respectively associated with USP and the Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning (CEBRAP). He was a Democracy Visiting Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) during AY2020-21. His agenda focuses on the political consequences of the State´s legal-institutional structures.
