Carlos Alfonso Martin Ballon Bayona

Bachelor's at Physics from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (2002), master's at Physic from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2005) under a CAPES fellowship and doctorate at Physic from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2009) under a CLAF-CNPQ fellowship. He was a postdoctoral researcher at CBPF from 2009 to 2010 under a CNPQ fellowship. He was a postdoctoral researcher at Durham University from 2010 to 2012 funded by STFC (United Kingdom). He was a postdoctoral researcher at IFT-UNESP from 2012 to 2013 funded by ICTP-SAIFR and Capes Award Fellowship. He was a postdoctoral researcher at University of Porto from 2013 to 2014 funded by a FCT fellowship (Portugal). He participated do Program Science without Borders doing a postdoctoral stage at University of Porto from 2014 to 2015, funded by Capes Award Fellowship. From 2015 to 2018 he was a postdoctoral researcher at IFT-UNESP, funded by Fapesp. He is an assistant professor at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro since 2018.
