Bruno Willian Picão

I am a Chemical Engineering graduate from UniFran - University of Franca (2018) and hold a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Araraquara / FCFAR / UNESP (2021). My professional journey is focused on Chemical Engineering, specializing in Biochemical Process Operations. Throughout my career, I have explored various relevant topics, with a particular emphasis on Hydrodynamics of Airlift and Stirred-Tank Bioreactors, Mass Transfer, and Design and Development of Bioprocesses, as well as Scale-up in Airlift and Stirred-Tank Bioreactors.Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. at the "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" State University (UNESP) in Araraquara, at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. My research focus is on the development of an enhanced internal tube model for the Airlift bioreactor, with a specific focus on Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) production using the microorganism Bacillus Subtilis operated in fed-batch mode.
