André de Lima Salgado holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics from the University of São Paulo (USP), where he also earned his Master's degree, and a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA). Currently, he is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Computer Science at UFLA. Previously, he served as an Adjunct Professor at the University Center of Lavras (UNILAVRAS) and as a Full Professor at the Presbyterian College Gammon (FAGAMMON). Associate Editor of the International Journal of Advanced Robotic Systems (IJARS). His research focuses on Human-AI Interaction, Human-Robot Interaction, Privacy, and Agriculture 5.0. André maintains active collaborations with several renowned institutions, including the University of São Paulo (ICMC/USP), Ontario Tech University (Canada), and Hongik University (South Korea). Hub Chair for ACM SIGDOC 2021 and Track Chair for ACM IHC2024. Among his accolades are an Honorable Mention in the Doctoral Category for Human-Computer Interaction for his thesis "Six usable privacy heuristics," the Best Paper Award in the Experience Reports Track at the XXII Brazilian Symposium on Human Factors in Computing Systems (IHC 2023), two Elsevier Reviewer Recognitions, the Academic Merit Award - 1st Place - Bachelor in Information Systems from UFLA, and the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship Award (Canada). Additionally, André coordinates a FAPEMIG research project in Agriculture 5.0 and has had three projects funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP).
