André de Lima Salgado is a Ph.D. Candidate at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Sciences at the University of São Paulo, Brazil, and Professor at Faculdade Presbiteriana Gammon (FAGAMMON), Brazil. He collaborates in multiple researches with the Faculty of Business and Information Technology at Ontario Tech University, Canada. He is currently working with Shizuoka University, Japan, on a research project about new types of interaction between smart gloves and robots. Besides, he is working with the University of Albany, United States, on a usable privacy project about smart toys and children's privacy. André has two ongoing grants from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). He is currently a reviewer for IEEE Access and Electronic Commerce Research and Applications. Before that, he has reviewed for iSys Brazillian Magazine of Information Systems, Journal of Systems Architecture, BMC Medical Informatics and Decision Making, Computer Standards & Interfaces, International Journal of Sociotechnology and Knowledge Development, Behaviour & Information Technology, International Journal of Business Process Integration and Management and Applied Clinical Informatics. André has been an instructor for the Ministry of Education, Brazil, on a course for graduate students and professors about the heuristic evaluation of educational tools. He has received two Elsevier Reviewer Recognition, one for ELSEVIER Electronic Commerce Research and Applications, and one for the Journal of Systems Architecture. Before that, he also received the Academic Merit - 1st Place - Bachelor's in Information Systems at the Federal University of Lavras, Brazil, issued by the Ministry of Education, Brazil. In 2014, he received the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship Award from Mitacs, Canada. André is a Master in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, and a Bachelor in Information Systems from the Federal University of Lavras, Brazil.
