PhD in Biological Sciences (Microbiology) from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo (ICB-USP). Holds an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar CCA), with part of her studies completed at James Cook University, in Townsville, Australia, through the Science Without Borders Program CAPES (20132014).Works in the field of Microbiology, with emphasis on the biochemical and functional characterization of mycobacterial proteins, particularly focusing on the investigation of molecular targets for the discovery of new drugs using the Fragment-Based Drug Discovery (FBDD) approach. Currently, she is a member of the Laboratory of Applied Structural Biology (LBEA) at ICB-USP, where she is conducting postdoctoral research focused on molecular microbiology and protein biochemistry. Has experience in molecular biology techniques, protein biochemistry, biophysical assays, protein structural biology, and experimental microbiology. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
