Cartographic Engineer with a Masters Degree in Cartographic Sciences, working since 2005 in the development of ground segment systems for the Brazilian Space Program under contracts with the National Institute for Space Research (INPE). During this time, I have contributed to the architecture definition, development, and maintenance of systems for several satellites, including CBERS-3, 4, and 4A, Amazonia-1, LANDSAT, AQUA, TERRA, and VCUB.I have been directly involved in the development of systems for data ingestion, recording, and image processing, covering the full chain from raw data decoding to the generation of radiometrically and geometrically corrected products, with or without ground control points, as well as orthorectification. For the Amazonia-1 satellite project, I helped develop additional features, such as the generation of top-of-atmosphere and surface reflectance images using the 6S radiative transfer model. I also contributed to systems for automatic classification of clouds and shadows and the generation of multi-temporal mosaics free of atmospheric interferences.I have worked on the development of several software products, such as RIPS (Image Processing System for the VCUB satellite), Latinum (multi-satellite image processing system), and Swordfish (image orthorectification system using RPC and rigorous models). These systems are built on modern architectures, supporting cloud computing and parallel processing, both via GPU acceleration and computing clusters.I also participated in the development of web-based systems for image catalog management, production, and distribution, and in WEBGIS applications such as a solution designed to support socio-environmental risk assessment in the financing approval process of Banco do Brasil. Additionally, I was part of the team that developed a complete TTC (Telemetry, Tracking Command) system, classified as a Strategic Defense Product (C3I: Command, Control, Communication Intelligence), designed to support multiple satellite constellations and globally distributed ground stations, including mission planning functionalities. My work involves the use of a wide range of technologies and programming languages, including C/C++, Python, Qt, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, MySQL, Linux, GIT, CVS, jQuery, among othersalways with a focus on performance, reliability, and integration between space and ground systems.
