Senior Lecturer in Economics at the University of the West of England Bristol. Previously, was a lecturer/senior lecturer at the Department of Economics of the University of São Paulo University (FEA-USP) and, in 2020, was a Visiting Scholar at the Centre of Latin American Studies of the University of Cambridge. Obtained a PhD in Economics from The New School for Social Research (USA), a Master degree in Economic Law from USP, and Bachelor degrees in Economics and in Law, both also from USP. Currently researches the connections between economic growth, income distribution, and structural dynamics in the recent trajectory of Brazil and other South American countries, focusing the impacts of the climate transition. His works have been published, in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, in edited books and in peer-reviewed journals like the Cambridge Journal of Economics, the Review of Radical Political Economics, the Review of Political Economy, and the Review of Keynesian Economics. In 2018, he received an honourable mention in an international essay contest promoted by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
