Graduated in Ecology from the State University Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP) in Rio Claro-SP. During the graduation I worked in the Laboratory of Sciences of the Terrestrial System (LabTerra), guided by Prof. Dr. David Montenegro Lapola, aiming to understand the effect of increasing CO2 on the Amazon rainforest dynamics in line with the Amazon-FACE project, using Terrestrial Ecosystem modeling tools; I am currently developing my Master's project together with the Laboratory of Biology of Conversation (LABIC), guided by Prof. Dr. Mauro Galetti, in which we tried to evaluate how defaunation affects the dynamics of seedlings functional groups population in plots monitored in the Atlantic Forest, from BIOTA-FAPESP project. Such experience has provided me with theoretical knowledge about processes and interactions at levels of ecosystems, communities and populations. Through theoretical knowledge, I also learn practical experience in the manipulation of aero image geoprocessing software and statistical tools. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
