Graduated in Medicine from 1985 to 1991 from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Postgraduate Master's degree from 2002 to 2004 in Medicine (PPGCM, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul). After that, he did a PhD from 2004 to 2007 in Sandwich Medicine (PPGCM of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul / M D Anderson Cancer Center Texas University). Current Position/Actuation: 2013 to date: Doctor and Professor in the Gynecology Oncology Department at the Barretos Cancer Hospital. Since 2018, he has been Director of the Teaching and Research Institute - Teaching Area of the Barretos Cancer Hospital. Since 2020, he has also held the position of Dean of Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Studies at the Pio XII Foundation - Barretos Cancer Hospital. Other Positions/Activities: Since 2015 he has been the Coordinator of the REDCap Commission at the Barretos Cancer Hospital. Past Positions/Activities: From 1995 to 2007, he was a contract physician at the Female Genital Oncology Service and the Gynecological Emergency Department at the Hospital de Clínicas in Porto Alegre. From 2008 to 2013 he was a Professor in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - Female Genital Oncology Team at the Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre - UFRGS. From 2009 to 2013 he was a Professor in the Postgraduate Program in Medical Sciences at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. From 2007 to 2023 he was hired as a Research Monitor at the University of Texas - MD Anderson Cancer Center. Research grants: 2013 to 2015: Research Productivity Grant (PQ2) from CNPQ. 2016 to 2018: Research Productivity Grant (PQ2) from CNPQ.
