Has a degree in Physiotherapy from the State University of Paraíba (2014), a PhD in Sciences from the University of São Paulo (2021), with a period as a Visiting PhD Student at Harvard Medical School (2019-2020), and an MBA in People Management from USP/ESALQ. She was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Neuroscience at Harvard Medical School. Currently, she is a Medical Science Liaison at Astellas Pharma Brazil. She has experience in research involving public health, neuroscience, physiology, pharmacology, and metabolism, with research lines in respiratory neural control, sleep, opioid receptors, the cholinergic system, metabolism, and lipodystrophy.
