L-Asparaginase (ASNase) is a bacterial tetrameric enzyme used in chemotherapy sessions that deplete Asparagine (Asn) and Glutamine (Gln), transforming them into Aspartate (Asp) or Glutamate (Glu), respectively, and ammonia.
