Rosely Kalil de Freitas Castro

With a Master's Degree in Science, Graduation and Licentiate in Nursing, all from the School of Nursing at the University of São Paulo (EE-USP), in addition a Specialization in Public Health Nursing from the Faculty of Public Health at USP and in Health Promotion from the Faculty of Medicine at USP. In Nursing, initially she was a team nurse in the Family Health Program (PSF) and, later, manager of a Basic Health Unit in the South Zone, in São Paulo. She continued working in Home Care institutions and then as Disease Manager (Management of chronic patients). Parallel to the functions of a nurse, she has worked in Nursing education since her formation, with emphasis on acting in higher education institutions (FMU, UNI 9, UNIP and UNAERP) both as an internship supervisor, and teaching theoretical classes in undergraduate and postgraduate courses. in Nursing. she also worked on technical nursing courses such as Tec Saúde from the Government of the State of São Paulo. Currently, she dedicates herself to Higher Education as a Master Professor at the Metropolitan University of Santos (UNIMES) and to research, as a member of the research group PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICE IN NURSING HIGHER EDUCATION AND ADULT HEALTH CARE (PRAPEC), at the Nursing School from USP (Medical-Surgical Nursing Department), under the coordination of Professor Vilanice Alves de Araújo Püschel (PHD). His experience in the field of Nursing and research occurs mainly in the following themes: Communication in Nursing (mainly non-verbal communication), teaching and learning in Nursing, Public Health and Health of the Adult and the Elderly.
