Holds a degree in Dentistry from Universidade do Sagrado Coração (1996), a specialization (1998), and a masters degree (2001) in Public Health Dentistry, as well as a doctorate in Pediatric Dentistry (2009) and a habilitation (2017) in Public Health, all from the School of Dentistry of Bauru, University of São Paulo (FOB-USP). Currently, he is an Associate Professor I with a full-time dedication (RDIDP) at FOB-USP, working in the Department of Public Health. He also coordinates the Multiprofessional Residency Program in Family and Community Health at the same institution.He has experience in humanitarian programs and health promotion, with interests in oral epidemiology and public health policies.
