PhD candidate in Environmental Engineering Sciences at the São Carlos School of Engineering (EESC) University of São Paulo (USP), with a FAPESP scholarship and a research internship abroad (BEPE/FAPESP) carried out at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). Holds a Masters degree in the same field and institution (2018 to 2020, FAPESP) and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from EESC-USP (2011 to 2017). Completed an academic exchange program at the University of New Orleans (USA, 2014 to 2015) and a summer internship at Cornell University (USA, 2015), working with biological wastewater treatment. Conducted undergraduate research at the Laboratory of Biological Processes (LPB/EESC) with a FAPESP scholarship, and completed an internship at Ferrovia Centro Atlântica (2017 to 2018). Has experience in environmental biotechnology, anaerobic digestion, valorization of agro-industrial solid waste, biosorption, acidogenic fermentation, and hydrothermal liquefaction. Participates in multidisciplinary projects in collaboration with various research groups, with an emphasis on integrating biotechnological and thermal processes to optimize waste treatment and energy recovery.
