Assistant Professor of Immunology at the Department of Microbiology and Parasitology from Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM). Won the prize: John N. Whitaker Award the Best Paper in Clinincal Neuroimmunology of International Society of Neuroimmunology. Awarded by the International Society for Advancement of Cytometry (ISAC), ISAC Marylou Ingram Scholarship (2021-2025). She has experience in Immunology and Pharmacology field, acting mainly in the following subjects: neuroinflammation, neurogenesis, kinin system, Alzheimer's disease, COVID-19, cellular immune response and glioblastoma. She is reviewer of several journals and Editorial Board Member of Cytometry Part A. She has 74 published papers, 2197 citations and H-index: 21 (Scopus) and 24 (Google Scholar).
