Graduated from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo (1974-1979). Medical Residency at INAMPS Own Hospitals (Hospital Heliópolis e Brigadeiro) (1980). Medical Residency in Cardiology at Instituto Dante Pazzanese de Cardiologia (1981-1983). "Research Fellow" in Hypertension by the Alton Oschner Medical Foundation (Jan1984-Jun1986). Specialization in Nephrology from the University of Virginia (Jun1986-Jul1988). PhD in Nephrology from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo in 1997. MBA in Health Innovation Management from the Butantan Foundation (2018-2019). Head of the Hypertension and Nephrology Division of the Instituto Dante Pazzanese (2003-2019). He is currently a physician in the Hypertensive Cardiopathy Division of the Discipline of Cardiology at UNIFESP and a Cardiologist, Nephrologist and Coordinator of the MAPA Service at Heart Hospital of the Syrian Community in São Paulo. Member of the Faculty and Advisor of the Graduate Program: Medicine, Technology and Intervention in Cardiology - University of São Paulo, Instituto Dante Pazzanese de Cardiologia. Vice-President of the Brazilian Society of Cardiology Biennium 2020-2021. Member of the Board of Directors International Society of Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy, since September / 2017.
