Rodrigo Palucci Pantoni

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (2000), a Licentiate degree in Mathematics (2012), a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (2006), and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering (2012). He worked for 10 years (2000 to 2010) at Smar Industrial Equipment in the electronic development department, where he developed computational tools and industrial communication protocols for industrial automation systems. He has been a full-time professor (RDE) since 2010 at IFSP (Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of São Paulo) - Sertãozinho Campus - SP, where he teaches in the Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and ProfEPT Master's programs. At IFSP, he held management positions such as Research, Innovation, and Graduate Coordinator (2013 to 2014) at the São João da Boa Vista Campus, Coordinator of the Technical Course in Internet Informatics (2013 to 2014) at the São João da Boa Vista Campus, and Director of Education at IFSP (2017 to 2021) at the Sertãozinho Campus. He is accredited as a permanent professor in the Stricto Sensu Professional Graduate Program in Professional and Technological Education at IFSP, focusing mainly on the theme: Organization and Memories of Formal and Non-Formal Spaces in EPT. He was accredited as a collaborating professor in the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program in Computer Science at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC), where he supervised master's and doctoral students from 2014 to 2021. He is currently the coordinator of the Center for Research and Innovation in Applied Computing to Industry (CEPICAI) at IFSP Sertãozinho Campus. He has been part of the National Evaluators Database of Sinaes (BASis) of MEC since 2022, acting as an evaluator of institutions and higher education programs. He has experience in the fields of Computer Science and Engineering, with an emphasis on Industrial Informatics, working mainly in the following areas: Software Engineering, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Databases, Digital Communication Networks, Industry 4.0, Internet of Things, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning. He has experience with research and innovation projects in collaboration with the private sector in the sugar and ethanol industries, in the modalities of CNPq-SETEC/MEC Call No. 17/2014 - Support for Cooperative Applied Research and Technological Extension Projects of CNPq and APPDI - Partnership Agreement for Research, Development, and Innovation with financial counterpart from private companies.
