Experience in the design, fabrication and characterization of devices into Silicon Integrated Photonics, and of Optical Fiber Sensors, especially for Aerospace Applications. Manager (2005-2009) of a technological development project, funded by FINEP, entitled "Miniaturized Fiber Optic Gyrometric Block for application on MAR-1 Missile". Accredited at ITA Graduate School, and at Photonics Division of IEAv. Member of the Assessment Committee in Graduate CAPES Program - Engineering III (Trienal 2010-2012; Quadrienal 2013-2016). Member of the Deliberative Council of the Brazilian Society of Optics and Photonics (SBFoton), from 06/2017 to 06/2021, and since 06/2023. Coordinator of the Area Committee "Physics in Industry" (FEM), from Brazilian Physics Society (SBF), from 06/2017 to 06/2021, Vice-Coordinator from 06/2023 to 03/2024, and Coordinator since 03/2024. FAPESP ad hoc advisor to PIPE and general grant projects. CNPq Grant for Productivity in Technological Development and Innovative Extension (DT). International recognition for relevant scientific contributions, with three articles listed among the Top-100 Most Cited Articles in 40 years of Optics Letters (https://opg.optica.org/content/collection/page/item/ol40-mostcited/), ranking # 16, 60 and 80; the researcher was the Brazilian most cited and with the largest number of ranked articles in that top-list.
