I am an Agricultural Engineer graduated from ESALQ-USP (2000), with a master's degree in Forest Resources (2005) from the same institution, and a PhD in Forest Sciences (Procan-USP) and Land, Environment, Resources and Health from the University of Padova, Italy (2023). I have worked in the federal government, third-sector organisations, academia, and as a consultant, accumulating a diverse and international background.I have extensive experience in the field of Forest Resources, with a focus on Nature Conservation, and work with topics such as: forest restoration, payment for environmental services (PES), agroforestry systems, socio-bioeconomics, climate finance, policy gap analysis, socio-environmental governance, stakeholder engagement, and the design and implementation of collaborative projects. I also have a solid background in quantitative, qualitative, and spatial methods applied to the formulation, monitoring, and evaluation of agro-environmental public policies, biodiversity conservation, water resources, and climate change.
