Graduated in Industrial Pharmacy at Universidade Federal Fluminense (2002), Master in Pharmaceuticals and Medicines at Universidade de São Paulo (2008) and Ph.D. in Natural and Synthetic Bioactive Products at Universidade Federal da Paraíba (2013). She is currently a collaborator at the natural products laboratory (Institute of Chemistry and Biomedicine - USP). The performance in scientific research encompasses the characterization and isolation of compounds from natural products, with an emphasis on native Brazilian plant species, aiming at the identification of fractions and/or isolated compounds through biomonitoring for antitumor, antimicrobial and inhibitory activities of key enzymes in the treatment of photoaging (tyrosinase, elastase and collagenase). For this purpose, analytical and separation techniques are used, as well as in vitro assays as tools. The purpose of these works is to contribute to advances in the treatment of these conditions, in addition to valuing Brazilian biodiversity. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
