Doctorate in chemistry-organic chemistry from the University Of Madras (2010). Has experience in Chemistry. Raja Sebastian was born on 10th July in Azhagankottai (Pudukkottai) Tamilnadu, INDIA. Graduated in Chemistry from St. Joseph's College (Bharathidasan University) in 2004 and completed a Ph.D. degree in synthetic organic chemistry at Madras University in 2010. Awarded FCT Post-Doc fellow in CQFM, IN-Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Instituto Superior Tecnico, Lisboa, PORTUGAL in 2011. In 2016, he was awarded FAPESP postdoctoral fellowship from Sao Paulo Research Foundation, Brazil. He got a BEPE internship fellowship from Sao Paulo Research Foundation to work at RWTH Aachen University, Germany. Currently, he is working as a CAPES Young Talent Researcher at the Federal University of Sao Carlos/Embrapa Instrumentacao, Brazil.
