Marcelo da Silva Rocha

Graduated in Civil Engineering from Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora (1996), Master in Civil Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1998) and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (2005). Conducted a postdoc stage in Mechanical Engineering at the University of São Paulo (2007) and in Nuclear Engineering at the Institute of Energy and Nuclear Research (2009). Is currently Adjunct Researcher at the Nuclear Engineering Center (CEENG) of the Institute for Energy and Nuclear Research (IPEN-CNEN). Is a a professor in the undergraduate and graduate program IPEN/USP, and is researcher in the areas of reactor thermohydraulics, renewable energies, fluid-structure interaction and nanotechnology applications to energy.
