Biomedical graduate from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), qualified in Molecular Biology, with a PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). From 2017 to 2018, with a Fapesp Research Internship Abroad (BEPE) fellowship, he performed an internship at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, in Houston, Texas, USA, under the supervision of Dr. George Calin, in the non-coding RNAs laboratory, perfecting RNA manipulation techniques and cell culture and scientific writing. He recently completed his doctorate at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) for the postgraduate program in Genetics and Molecular Biology, held at the National Biosciences Laboratory (LNBio/CNPEM). He specialized in understanding the role of immune system cells in the tumor microenvironment, using cell co-culture techniques, extraction of primary bone marrow cells, in vivo breast tumor induction assays and analysis of samples by immunohistochemistry, ELISA and flow cytometry. He currently works as a specialist in technological development at LNBio with Dr Kleber Franchini's group. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
