Juliana de Fátima Giarola

Ph.D. in Sciences, area of Analytical Chemistry, by the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP (2020). Master of Science, with emphasis on Physics and Chemistry of Materials (FQMat) from the Federal University of São João del-Rei - UFSJ (2016). Chemistry degree at Federal University of São João del-Rei - UFSJ (2014). She is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2) in Barcelona (Spain). She has experience in #8203;#8203;Sensors and Bio(sensors), emphasising clinical diagnosis, working mainly with electrochemical and optical sensors, especially those based on Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR). Since 2021, she has been part of the Nanobiosensors and Analytical Applications Group (NanoB2A), led by Prof. Laura Lechuga at ICN2 (Barcelona, #8203;#8203;Spain), where she works on the development of new methodologies using plasmonic POC devices for various clinical applications.
