Birthplace: Brazil

Geologist (2016), MSc (2018), and PhD (2022) in Geosciences from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), with a postdoctoral degree (2025) from the Center for Petroleum Studies (CEPETRO-Unicamp). During his PhD, he carried out research on the paleoenvironmental reconstruction of distributive fluvial systems, based on paleosol analysis and the depositional architecture of Cretaceous successions in the Bauru Basin. His thesis received the CAPES Thesis Award in Geosciences (1st place, 2023) and the UNICAMP Outstanding Thesis Award (1st place, 2023). He has held research internships at the University of Bristol (UK), the Technical University of Ko?ice (Slovakia), and the Indian Statistical Institute (India). Since 2025, he has been a researcher at the Reservoir Geological Modeling Laboratory (MGR) at CEPETRO, where he works in the fields of sedimentology and stratigraphy, with emphasis on the conceptual modeling of Aptian lacustrine carbonate systems from the Brazilian pre-salt. He is the author of 22 scientific papers covering the following topics: (i) Cretaceous fluvial systems, (ii) Neoproterozoic eolian systems, (iii) petroleum geology, (iv) Aptian lacustrine systems, and (v) lithostratigraphy. He acts as a reviewer for 10 international scientific journals, including Sedimentary Geology, Sedimentology, Petroleum Geoscience, and Scientific Reports. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
