I am a Biologist dedicated to researching the biodiversity and evolution of Neotropical vertebrates, with a focus on reptiles and amphibians. I hold a bachelor's degree and teaching certification in Biological Sciences from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (2006), a master's degree in Zoology from the Brazilian National Museum, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2009), and a Ph.D. in Comparative Biology from the Richard Gilder Graduate School, American Museum of Natural History (2015). I was a postdoctoral fellow of the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), working on the phylogenomics and historical biogeography of South American lizards at the University of São Paulo (USP), University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), and University of Washington, Seattle (UW). I am currently an acting Instructor at the Department of Biology at the University of Washington, Seattle. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
