Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Universidade Estadual de Campinas - UNICAMP (1981), specialization in Obstetrics from the Federal University of São Paulo (1982), Master's degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology from UNICAMP (1988), PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from UNICAMP (1994) ), Postdoctoral degree from the Federal University of São Paulo (2008) and specialization in Stomal Therapy by UNICAMP (2011). Master's advisor since 1999 and doctorate, since 2008, in the Postgraduate Program in Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing at UNICAMP. Since 2014 is a Full Professor of the Faculty of Nursing at UNICAMP. Was member of the Editorial Board of the Paulista Journal of Nursing and is currently a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Communication in Healthcare Strategies, Media, and Engagement in Global Health. She is an ad hoc consultant for the International Journal of Medical Informatics, Journal of Clinical Nursing,International Journal of Urological Nursing, Latin American Journal of Nursing, USP Nursing School Magazine, Revista Mineira de Enfermagem, Acta Paulista de Enfermagem, Brazilian Journal of Physical Therapy, Text Context and others. Also provides advice to FAPESP, CNPq and CAPES. Has experience in Nursing, with emphasis on Obstetric Nursing and Stomal Therapy, working mainly on the following topics: women's health, nursing diagnosis, urinary incontinence and information technology in nursing.
