Graduation, Master degree and PhD degree in Chemical Engineering by the University of São Paulo. During graduation developed two scientific projects in the Laboratory of Biochemical Engineering entitled:?Tubular reactor for semi-solid fermentation: Study of homogeneity of the medium? and ?Comparison of methods to determine the biomass in fungal cultures in semi-solid substrate?, both under the supervision of Profa. Dr. Beatriz Vahan Kilikian. During undergraduate, she worked as research and development intern for Rhodia Polyamide. As a graduate, she worked as a process engineer at Chemtech - A Siemens Company. She was the Responsible Researcher of the PIPE / FAPESP Project No. 00953-6 entitled "Development of a Photocatalytic Reactor for the Treatment of Contaminated Gases with Volatile Organic Compounds", aiming to develop and evaluate the technical and scientific feasibility of a process for the degradation of volatile organic compounds (VOC) present as contaminants in gaseous streams of industrial effluents. The process is based on the catalytic photo-oxidation of the contaminants in contact with titanium dioxide (TiO2) and ultraviolet (UV) radiation. She is currently partner at Ecoplas Equipamentos Industriais LTDA. She has experience in Chemical Engineering area, with emphasis on transport phenomena, working mainly on the following topics: atmospheric pollution, CFD, reactors and modeling.
