Birthplace: Brazil

Bachelor degree on Technological Chemistry from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, with one-year-abroad program at University of Californa, Davis. PhD at University of Campinas, with research developed at Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM). Her PhD research was focused on synthesis, functionalization and characterization of silica nanoparticles for nanomecine, particularly on understanding the protein corona formation process over different silica nanoparticles and methods to avoid protein corona formation. Additionally, the effects of zwitterionic functionalization on silica nanoparticles' properties lie charge and colloidal stability has been extensively evaluated during PhD. Currently under a Post-Doctoral position in Plymer Colloids group at Federal University of ABC (UFABC), working with one-pot two-reactants synthesis of polymer-stabilized gold nanoparticles and their interaction with proteins and biological media (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
