Birthplace: Brazil

Cartographic Engineer from São Paulo State University, Brazil (2008-2012). M.Sc. (2013-2015) and PhD. (2015-2019) in Cartographic Sciences, São Paulo State University, Brazil. In the master's, I developed a project (financed by CNPq - National Council for Scientific and Technological Development) related to the automatic extraction of linear and punctual features from LiDAR data aiming at the relative adjustment of strips. In the doctorate, I worked on a research project related to the extraction and regularization of building roof boundaries from LiDAR data using the alpha-shape algorithm and the CD-Spline concept. It was financed by CNPq and FAPESP (São Paulo Research Foundation). Additionally, during my doctorate I did a research internship abroad (April-November, 2017) by BEPE (Research Internship Scholarship Abroad) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ayman F. Habib in Department of Civil Engineering at Purdue University (USA). During this period, I developed research activities in the DPRG group (Digital Photogrammetry Research Group). Currently, I am developing postdoctoral research in Graduate Program on Cartographic Sciences (PPGCC), São Paulo State University/Brazil. Research areas: LiDAR data processing, 3D reconstruction, Photogrammetry, and Building modeling. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
