Rafael Frederico Fonseca

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (2009), a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (2012), and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (2016). My professional endeavors have been primarily focused on transdisciplinary scientific and technological development in collaboration with the fields of electrical, chemical, environmental, and agricultural engineering. These efforts have encompassed various areas, with a particular emphasis on mathematical modeling of biological processes, the development and automation of equipment (mechanical, electronic, and programming), innovation in instrumentation and sensors, as well as process optimization and control.I have served as a postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratory of Biological Processes at EESC - USP, a visiting researcher at the Laboratory of Development and Automation of Bioprocesses at DEQ-UFSCar, and an engineering research scientist at the INSTITUT NATIONAL DE RECHERCHE POUR LAGRICULTURE, INRAE UMR Agroecologie, Dijon.
