Holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the State University of Ceará (UECE), including a study-abroad period at the University of Western Australia (UWA). Earned both M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in the Graduate Program in Basic and Applied Immunology at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School (FMRP), University of São Paulo (USP). Completed a Ph.D. research internship at the Institute of Medical Microbiology and Hygiene, University Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz, Germany. Has solid expertise in T cell biology and immunometabolism, particularly in the context of inflammation and tumor immunology. During postdoctoral training (FMRP/USP), consolidated and expanded work on the mechanisms regulating immune responses within the tumor microenvironment. As an early-career Investigator (Geração Grant/FAPESP) at FMRP/USP, develops research in the field of cellular immunology, with particular emphasis on the integration of metabolic and signaling pathways that modulate T cell responses in the contexts of cancer and inflammation.
