Abstract
Here we propose a project in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics focused on the synthesis and study of chemical substitution in the antiferromagnetic compound Eu3Ir4Sn13. By means of the Sn melt flux technique, we will grow Eu3-xRxIr4Sn13 single crystals, where R = Ca and Sr, for different contents x.
