This undergraduated project has as purpose the preparation of chiral Baylis-Hillman adducts, from chiral aminoaldehydes and use these adducts as substrate for the synthesis of the functionalized skeletons of pyrrolizidinic and indolizidinics alkaloids. Depending on the available time, I intend to synthesize a representative example of an alkaloid of one of the class. (AU)
