Flávia Luize Pereira de Souza

PhD in the Graduate Program in Agricultural Engineering at São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" - Unesp/FCA (2021-2024), on a Sandwich period at Louisiana State University - AgCenter (2022-2023) and another Sandwich period at the University of Connecticut (UConn) (2023-2024). Holds a Master's degree from the Graduate Program in Agriculture - Energy in Agriculture at Unesp/FCA (2018-2021), specializing in soybeans, geoprocessing, and artificial intelligence. During the postgraduate studies, focused on research in Precision Agriculture and digital agriculture, with a concentration on the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) for data collection in agricultural crops and the application of machine learning techniques in the analysis of collected data. Graduated in Agronomic Engineering from the University of Sagrado Coração de Bauru (2017). During the undergraduate period, engaged in applied research, extension, and technological innovation, emphasizing watershed management and optimizing the productivity, quality, and nutrition of sugarcane, with a focus on Geoprocessing. Served as co-founder and president of the LINEAR group (Advanced Research Group in Artificial Intelligence in the agroforestry sector) and as a member of the LSU Precision Agriculture group in the United States (USA). Was a scholarship holder from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) (2016-2017).
